Limassol International Book Fair is a leading cultural initiative focused on the book and publishing industry. It is a private, non-profit organisation founded by industry professionals. Since 2022, it has served as a regional hub where stakeholders from Europe and Μέση Ανατολή the Middle East can meet, exchange knowledge and build synergies centred on literature, books and culture. At the same time, the Fair supports all sectors of the local book industry, including publishing, bookselling, translation, printing and production, digital and traditional marketing, and content management.

Inspired by leading international book fairs, the organisation hosts an annual Book Fair in Limassol, comprising a Professional Programme and a Public Book Fair. The annual Professional Conference is aimed at publishers, academics, booksellers, authors, translators, distributors and other industry professionals. It is the first dedicated conference for the book industry ever held on the island. The professional programme also extends into Saturday, featuring events for industry professionals, as well as a B2B Space where professionals can meet and network. 

The General Book Fair welcomes publishers, booksellers, authors, academics, government bodies, embassies, municipalities, cultural organisations, book lovers and artists from the local, regional and international communities.

The Fair has already held four editions, attracting more than 20,000 visitors and featuring over 300 speakers, 150 exhibitors, 300 events and 25,000 book titles. The 5th Limassol International Book Fair will take place on 20–22 November 2026 at the Lanitis Carob Mills in Limassol.

The Limassol International Book Fair aims to make a lasting cultural impact on the island. As an established institution, it aspires to serve as a cultural beacon for the wider region while offering an excellent opportunity to strengthen Cyprus’s cultural diplomacy.
