Among other positions, she was Director of the Archaeology Research Unit and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Cyprus. She also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus and in 2018, by decision of the Council of Ministers, she was appointed a member of the National Council for Innovation and Research of the Republic of Cyprus.  In addition, he was a member of the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO and in 2022 he was elected Corresponding Member of the Archaeological Institute of America. She has published extensively and has participated and coordinated a number of field projects and interdisciplinary research projects on her areas of expertise, with funding from the European Union, the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus, the A.G.
